Yuletide letter

Dear Yuletide Santa,

 

Thanks for picking one (or more) of my fandoms! 

 

Likes: slash though there are some het couples that I like, happy endings though ambiguous/open-ended endings are good too depending on the fandom, well-written characters

Don't likes: rape, betrayal and in a similar vein: adultery, characters that are written very out-of-character unless there's a good reason, humiliation/embarrassment kink

 

For my specific requests this year:

Run with the Wind (Anime)  

Kurahara Kakeru, Kiyose Haiji

 

I've only seen 2 episodes but love it so far. I like Haiji and his dynamic with the others and how they seem him as the "Ogre". He's very good at knowing what makes his flatmates tick, but also like how passionate he is about running. I want to learn more about both him and Kurahara. Kurahara looks like Kageyama Tobio (another character I love) but with a different personality. I'd like to know more about him. Is he a gambling addict? Will this give them problems in the future? How did his experience in high school shape him?

For this fandom, I would prefer not to read alternate universes. I love the setting and the characters as they are. I would love to see more of their practice, or anything that would be about their future post whatever canon is available. If you like slash, please feel free to slash these two because I do :), but gen especially including the rest of the team would also be great; I like happy endings, especially for this fandom.

I like what I've seen so far and we learn more with every episode. Some other thoughts after Yuletide sign-ups ended: Olympics will be in Japan in 2020. Will they compete in the Olympics? Be spectators instead? What happens after Haiji graduates? Does the track and field club remain active?

 

Animal Kingdom (TV)

I'm not sure how I feel about the season 3 ending, so feel free to ignore it :). I would like to read a relatively happy fic with these two ending up together, but something bittersweet would also work as it fits the tone of the show more. Feel free to explore their past or more of their future. Will they ever get out of this life? I would just really love more fic about these two. I don't like reading about rape, but dub con or various forms of under-negotiated kink works for this couple. But don't feel that it has to be R/NC-17 rated. I'd also read fic about these two surfing.

Curtain!fic would also be interesting to read for these two. What's their version of domesticity?
 

Koko wa Greenwood | Here is Greenwood  

Tezuka Shinobu, Ikeda Mitsuru

 

Haven't read or watched Here is Greenwood in some time, but I still remember loving it way back when. My favorite character is Tezuka with Mitsuru a close second. The banter/friendship/relationship between these two was funny. Feel free to slash them or keep it gen. The canon het relationship between Hasukawa and Igrashi is fine, though would like the focus on Tezuka and Mitsuru. I'd love to read about their further school life adventures or something post-canon: university or even after that. How does Tezuka deal with his family after graduation? Does Mitsuru ever start to feel that he belongs in his own family? Will Tezuka end up ruling the world?

This is an old anime/manga series that I still love. Anything with these two would be amazing.

Copying this over from last year: I really liked the ending of this movie and would have loved to see more. So really, anything post-canon would be great. How do their friends deal with them being together? How does this change their relationship with Laura? Pre-canon could be interesting but I would still love to ultimately see both of them together. During canon, what are the missing scenes you would have loved to see? Keep it G/PG-rated or R/NC-17, will read all of it :).

So few gay movies that have a happy ending where the couple stay/end up together that I keep this close to my heart :). I would just love anything with these two that keep it happy.
